Knowledge Base: DNS CNAME Guide
A DNS CNAME will allow your mobile view to live at m.yoursite.com rather than yoursite.mobify.me.
Setting up the DNS CNAME record to point to your mobile view is the last, very important step to accessibility. It differs for various registrars, so we put together a comprehensive Guide based on Google's excellent help section. Don't hesitate to let us know if you need any further help by creating a support ticket.
Note: some DNS providers do not support .me domains. If your provider does not appear to support .me domains, please substitute yoursite.mobifyapp.com for yoursite.mobify.me in the instructions below.

General DNS CNAME Instructions
-
Sign in to your account at your DNS provider's website. Typically, this is your registrar, or company you bought the domain name from, eg. GoDaddy, however in some setups it will be your hosting provider. Go to the DNS management page. CNAME records may be in sections such as DNS Management or Name Server Management. You may have to enable advanced settings to create a CNAME record. Please contact your DNS provider directly if you can't locate the CNAME management options.
-
Use the information in this below when you create your CNAME record. Terms used to create CNAME records vary by host. Next, enter the following information. Use your own Mobify URL instead of yoursite.mobify.me.
Host Name/Alias: m Value/Destination: yoursite.mobify.me -
Specify your CNAME URL in the Deploy tab of the Manage screen under the Custom Domain field.
-
Your CNAME record is now configured to point to Mobify. Keep in mind that changes to your DNS settings may take up to 48 hours to propagate throughout the Internet. After that, the new URL at m.yoursite.com will be live!
Registrar-specific DNS CNAME Instructions
Here are more specific DNS CNAME setup instructions for various registrars, courtesy of Google. We have assumed that m.yoursite.com is the URL being set-up. If you would like to set up mobile.yoursite.com, make sure to replace m with mobile in the instructions. Make sure you use the URL of your mobile view and not yoursite.mobify.me, as well.
